This project began as a response to Virgil Abloh giving Lucien Clarke LV shoes to skate in. They were designed before LV started their skate program. The collection features 5 unique silhouettes inspired by skate shoes ranging from the late 80’s throughout the 2000s with an elevated contemporary twist.
Disclaimer: Old work, shapes are all wrong. Consider this more as a testament to how passionate, hard working, and stupid I am for giving LV this much of my time for free :)
Intended to be a super fresh and techy looking skate shoe, using elements of the design language that was happening in skate footwear during the turn of the millennium.
This shoe came about from a question I asked myself: If Tony Montana (Scarface) had a signature skate shoe for LV, how would it look? I don’t know what that has to do with anything, but these are essentially supposed to read like an urbanized tassel loafer with some added skate features.
It doesn’t take a genius to figure this one out: Its an LV Air Jordan 1. Drug dealers rejoice!
This one was supposed to feel like a lightweight athleisure style skate shoe. A thick and supportive foam midsole perfect for tearing up the streets, or for Instagram models to take butt-selfies at the gym. #workinghard
A rip off of the Koston 1 from eS. Nothing more, nothing less.
