Footwear designer by trade, archivist by obsession.
I studied Industrial Design at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), where I developed a foundation in practical design solutions backed by design history. I integrate this with my proficiency in graphic design and photography to approach design through a cohesive perspective.
Currently, I serve as the Head of Footwear at Lakai, managing the full seasonal product lifecycle from concept to market.
My design language is permanently rooted in the sensibilities of skateboarding. The pursuit is to distill the conventions and gestural attitude of ‘core skate’ into a visual vocabulary, recontextualizing subcultural utility to create new objects which both celebrate and transcend skateboarding.
